Today I’m celebrating my first thirty days of Photo blogging or Phlogging (coined by one of my favorite Gatherers Birdie J).
Honestly, I started my photo blog because I usually have something I want to share everyday, but don’t always have time to write a whole article.
It’s a melange of odd shots, favorites and commentary on life, eclectic and a little nutty. (like me!)
I posted the first thirty days as articles so that folks would get used to reading them rather than thinking they were just a pic. As of today, I’m posting them as pictures on Gather. They are hosted on flicker at Scott L’s 2007 Photo Diary or my Phlogging Set.
I love Flickr and I tend to post most of my photos there. One of my favorite features is the geo-tags, which allow you to place photos on a map so visitors can see where they were taken.
I plan to keep phlogging everyday so be sure to stay tuned!

This little creek is about twenty yards from a busy road. When the leaves are on the trees it’s almost impossible to spot. The only way to find it is to stop, shut out the bustling traffic and listen for the rushing water.

Sure they clean the air, prevent errosion and conserve water, but there’s nothing like sitting under your favorite tree on a warm summer day to make you feel safe and contented.
So go Hug A Tree today!
